A more percussive approach of the piano opens new possibilities... You can create interesting motives by dividing the notes of a melody over two hands (oef. A, B).

If you understand this concept you can make the rhythm more complex by playing a single note with the left first, followed by two consecutive notes with the right (oef. C, D). It's important to feel that each quarter note in the bar coincides with the first note of each triplet, alternating left and right, by accentuating the first note of each triplet.
